Dr. Gaudenzi has taught at the University of Texas at Austin, the College of Charleston, the University of Georgia at Athens, and Gettysburg College. She has published articles on Dante, Italian cinema, Italian women writers, and translation studies. In 1999, her article on Carolina Invernizio was recognized at the RLA Conference as the best published essay on women written by a junior scholar (Lorraine K. Lawton award).
